Clients choose law firms based on their track record for competence, reliability, and results despite their exorbitant fees. Reputation is critical to a law firm’s success, often serving as its most valuable asset. An attorney will thrive or fail based on their reputation and their ability to obtain results for their clients. A strong reputation signals to potential clients that the firm can handle complex matters, such as an employment dispute against a large corporation, effectively. An excellent website that I wish I had come across before engaging The Rose Law Group aka Jesse Rose’s legal services, provides a summary of his failures. COMPETENCY CONCERNS
The most fundamental expectation that is required of an attorney is to have the ordinary and reasonable skill, prudence, and knowledge commonly possessed by a member of the legal profession. Unfortunately, Rose ostensibly fell short of this basic requirement as he was outmaneuvered by his adversary throughout the case. Here, are several examples of his improper exercise of skill and professional judgment:
There were multiple instances where Rose’s exhibited an ignorance of basic, well established principles of law. Additionally, his briefs and motions failed to have the accurate and relevant case law to support his arguments. The logic, and organization of his work product needed continuous revisions and modifications from the beginning of his representation all the way to the end. I repeatedly told Rose that the mistakes that I found exhibited sloppiness and a lack of professionalism.
Even small mistakes on any legal matter can cripple your chances of succeeding. Discovery, is the most critical aspect of litigation in any employment legal matter. If you have do not have the proper evidence to present a case a client will have an uphill battle to prove claims for an unlawful termination. One of the most significant mistakes and errors of judgment occurred when Rose failed to obtain critical documents which were pivotal in the matter.






HE ACTS IN HIS OWN INTEREST
One of the most fundamental and essential tenets of ethical representation requires an attorney to act in the best interests of his client. Unfortunately, Rose is a scumbag manipulator who departed from this requisite fiduciary standard and continuously breached his ethical obligations. Throughout Rose’s representation he exhibited a grandiose sense of self-importance, lack of empathy, and manipulative behavior with his distorted advice for personal gain by prioritizing his own needs above all else.


ROSE IS NOT LOYAL OR TRUSTWORTHY
This is perhaps one indispensable quality that cannot be overlooked or compromised when seeking the services of an attorney. An attorney, who is also designated as a fiduciary, is in a position of the highest trust and confidence with a client. Unfortunately, Rose conduct does not live up to this standard. Knowingly and deliberately committed acts of deceit during ongoing litigation
He repeatedly lied to his client that he placed the client’s documentation for damages on record which was necessary to present during the arbitration hearing to support the Plaintiff’s claims.
He repeatedly and contumaciously refused to admit and acknowledge his errors/mistakes but rather made every effort to cover it up throughout his entire representation. This is an ethical violation under and is not acceptable under all ethical standards of lawyers. Due to this unethical behavior, the client was deprived of the opportunity to correct the palpable errors. Following his errors, Rose’s actions were motivated to cover up these mistakes, and disregard the client’s best interests.
He repeatedly declined to provide me full transparency on the matter and provide all the documented communications
ROSE HAS A PROBLEM LISTENING TO HIS CLIENT
Throughout his representation Rose he exhibited an inability to follow simple instructions. In line with his selfishness and hubris discussed earlier, he refused to listen to his client’s requests during Discovery which irreparably damaged the case. Despite being provided simple requests, Rose made every effort to intentionally ignore and manipulate decisions despite that he is required to oblige with New York’s Rules of Professional Conduct which provides express language regarding the rules for informed consent and communication.


ROSE HAS A DISTORTED CONCEPT OF FAIR DEALING
At every phase of the case there were issues with his dishonest and incompetent services and he refused to perform any work without receiving payment. Further, Rose disregarded an explicit agreement to present essential evidence in the case along with a fixed value for his compensation that were both agreed upon prior to the trial/hearing. Following the unfavorable outcome of the arbitration, he fraudulently intercepted money that was slated to be paid to me. This is a perfect examples of his greedy and jealous behavior. A pending complaint against The Rose Law Group alleges deceit under Judiciary Law § 487; legal malpractice; breach of fiduciary duty; unjust enrichment. Much of the complaint is premised on Jesse Rose’s inability to take accountability for his actions. Ultimately, Rose does not provide a client any peace of mind and should not be trusted in way regarding payment for his legal services.




ROSE IS INCAPABLE OF HANDLING LITIGATION AGAINST A LARGE LAW FIRM
Rose represented that he had other legal staff and attorneys, with the necessary experience and knowledge to handle a complex employment matter against a large corporation. However, this proved to be a fabrication since he did not have any staff or other personnel, which was evident from his extreme pattern of legal delinquency from the beginning the case until the loss of the case. The reality is that he misrepresented his capabilities, the size of his firm, procedural knowledge, and requisite strategic expertise to effectively prosecute the case. Additionally, the adversary in the matter, which included multiple attorneys, walked all over him from the beginning of the case until the end. In short, Rose was simply weak and ineffective and could not properly handle the matter.






THERE ARE MUCH BETTER OPTIONS AVAILABLE FOR AN EMPLOYMENT LAW FIRM IN NEW YORK
If you are considering Jesse Rose’s legal services AKA The Rose Law Group, I highly recommend you reconsider your options. I engaged the services of multiple attorneys on my employment matter, and Jesse Rose’s legal services were the by far the most incompetent and dishonest. I can honestly say choosing the Rose Law Group was one of the worst decisions I ever made. I want to make sure that other people don’t make the same mistake. If you take into consideration all the reasons above and are still considering his legal services, you need to ask yourself…are you feeling lucky? Even if you have already engaged his services and are reading this now, it is still within your best interest to cut your losses and get rid of him now, rather than regret it later. Don’t’ just walk away…run!

ROSE ATTENDED A THIRD TIER LAW SCHOOL

Not surprisingly, Rose’s lower caliber education reflected in line with the substandard legal services he provided.














ROSE IS DELUSIONAL ABOUT HIS PERFORMANCE
Reacts badly to even the slightest criticisms, disagreements, or perceived slights, which he views as personal attacks. Additionally, he is threatened by people who don’t kowtow to his own interests or who challenge them in any way and repeatedly deflects when you confront him about his errors and mistakes. A perfect example of Rose’s failure to take accountability was his attempt to dismiss the malpractice complaint against him and his firm rather than provide an answer to the allegations.
